RetirementExpert was formed to offer a unique reference point on expert advice on retirement - planning, pensions, travel and leisure.

Many people spend decades looking forward to the time when they can put their careers behind them, only to feel a bit lost when the day finally arrives. We aim to help route the way, making it easier for retirees to maximise the pleasures of ageing and avoid some of the possible bumps in the road.

Some retirees love to travel and socialise while others are content to enjoy a quieter lifestyle than they may have had while raising their families and building their careers. However they envision a happy retirement, we present accurate information on staying safe and healthy, whether at home or on the go.

While ageing is inevitable, the difference between celebrating the changes that come with retirement and mourning lost youth often comes down to attitude and perspective. By offering the latest information on disease prevention, fitness, travel opportunities, and financial management, we hope to provide the seasoned members of our society with the tools they need to live happily and enjoy their well-earned leisure time.

The retirement years can be a time of great joy for most, though many people must deal with health issues that crop up just when they thought life was going to be stress free, some are faced with the loss of their lifetime love, and others worry about finances, especially in these economically turbulent times. Our concern was that there was no single UK resource for interesting features and practical advice on this subject.

Our Background

John, through PtS, is involved in a number of ventures including software and property companies. A percentage of revenue from these activities goes towards funding RetirementExpert and a number of similar sites.

Our focus is simply on having experts create the highest quality information possible that is widely read.
